Today I asked the SNP about the rest facilities on offer to lorry drivers in Scotland. They had committed to conducting an audit of all lorry stops within a 5km radius of any motorway and trunk road.
After recently meeting The Road Haulage Association, where we discussed challenges to the industry like recruitment, I will be encouraging Graeme Dey to do more for this sector.
Our lorry drivers are vital to Scotland's economy and I look forward to reading the Minister's response.
