Yesterday afternoon there was a debate in the Scottish Parliament about the Climate emergency. Graham Simpson MSP took part and pledged his support for the Prime Minister's net zero plans. He said: "We need to bring people with us on the journey to net zero. We're still committed to hitting net zero by 2050, but Rishi Sunak just wants to give the public a little more time. Pointless fights and made up gripes will not save the planet. Pragmatic politics might".
