While bus passengers in Scotland are facing a sharp rise in ticket prices and the cancellation of services, the UK government has extended their successful £2 fare cap for another three months.
I asked the Transport Minister, Kevin Stewart, why the Scottish Government hasn't introduced a similar scheme which would protect services and encourage more people to use the bus.
