MSP for Central Scotland, Graham Simpson said: "There's lots of building work going on across #eastkilbride and yesterday I visited a Bellway site on the edge of town with Raymond Baxter from the NHBC.
"They have years of work ahead of them in the town, which I will be following closely, and I look forward to seeing the new school which is part of the plans.
"The huge growth of the town is further evidence of the need for additional infrastructure and transport links - like fully dualling the rail line and finalising the Glasgow Metro project".
