It was wonderful to meet Jawad Khursheed and the rest of the team from HVS (Hydrogen Vehicle Systems) at their office in Glasgow this morning.
With HGV's accounting for 1.5% of vehicles on the road but contributing 20% to UK carbon emissions it is essential net-zero solutions are developed in the haulage industry.
Their plan to design and build hydrogen lorries is going from strength to strength with help from the UK government and it would be great if these could be manufactured in Scotland.
