South Lanarkshire Council have launched a parking zone consultation for the area around Hairmyres railway station.
Hopefully many people in East Kilbride will take part in this consulation. To encourage participation I have issued hard copies around the local area.
The council's proposals could see streets near Hairmyres railway station being off limits to non – residents. We need to see an accurate response from the local community to these proposals.
The consultation will run for eight weeks until the end of January 2019.
