Yesterday I joined Sustrans Scotland and The City of Edinburgh Council to see the new City Centre West East Cycle Link which runs from Roseburn to Leith Walk.
This £19.4m project is designed to boost physical activity in the city and make it easier for residents to cycle - however, it has not been without its challenges.
Clearly, some of the concerns raised by residents and councillors must be addressed but this is an exciting build and I look forward to seeing it finished.
