Today, plans were unveiled to revamp and revitalise East Kilbride Town Centre. There would be new housing, a hotel and potentially a civic square. MSP for Central Scotland, Graham Simpson said: "I'd invite you to look at the council website and look out for the dedicated website next week. Have your say and comment on these interesting new plans. Our town centre, like many others, has been struggling and can't continue as it is".
