It was a pleasure to sponsor an event on behalf of the Light Aircraft Association last night in The Scottish Parliament and showcase the variety of sectors which make up General Aviation.
This relatively unknown industry, which includes everything from flight training, to hang-gliding and island air services, has huge economic potential but it needs Government support.
I'd like to thank all the organisations who attended and I hope that those MSPs who joined us will take the opportunity to visit their local airfields and possibly take to the skies.
