Yesterday, the Scottish Conservatives voted to scrap the workplace parking tax.
Business groups and the public have made clear their overwhelming opposition to the workplace parking tax, which will hit them at a time when the SNP Government should be focussing on economic recovery.
The SNP’s refusal to add a cap to the maximum charge makes the introduction of this new tax means businesses and commuters now face even more uncertainty after two years of disruption due to Covid.
The SNP and their Green partners are determined to punish motorists. The Scottish Conservatives will ensure not a single council we control will implement this tax.
