Today I asked Nicola Sturgeon what she thought of the Union Connectivity Review.
She clearly hadn’t read it.
I pointed out that Transport Scotland officials had been told to stop working on proposals with the UK Government to speed up train journey times between Scotland and London.
She denied that but I know it to be true because I was at the public meeting where it was said by one of them.
Earlier her Transport Minister Graeme Dey said there was an offer to discuss joint working on improving the A75. That is good.
It does not matter who funds improvements on that that road, it only matters that they happen.
